Working principle: Tuning Fork Density Meter uses vibratory principle to measure density. The density of the liquid in which the fork vibrates changes the resonance frequency of the instrument. By monitoring the resonant frequency and performing the well-known conversion, the vibration mode can provide high-precision online density measurement.
The sensor is designed according to the principle of vibration, which is similar to a tuning fork with two teeth. The fork vibrates due to a piezoelectric crystal located at the root of the tooth. The frequency of the vibration is detected by another piezoelectric crystal. By monitoring the resonant frequency and performing the well-known conversion, the vibration mode can provide high-precision online density measurement.
When the liquid flows through the fork, the vibration changes, causing the resonant frequency to change, and the accurate density value is calculated by the electronic processing unit.
